Contra Dance @ Heilandskirche Graz – January 2027

A New England traditional folk social dance with live music. No partner or experience needed: every dance is taught and called. If you can walk, you can dance! Fun, inclusive and open to all.

Schedule:

• 17:30 Introduction to the steps and dances, no experience required
• 18:00 Simple contra dances and mixers, ending with a waltz
• 19:30 Snack break: potluck, bring food to share
• 20:00 More contra dances, simple and a bit trickier; we walk you through everything
• 21:30 End

Every set ends with a waltz: dance alone, as a couple or in a group, as you like.

Admission is free, but please donate to the band and to cover the venue. Every contribution helps!
